Hey Hallowieners! It’s finally October and boy, oh boy, do we have an exciting month planned for you!
First, let’s address the very spooky elephant in the room — Happy Friday the 13th! Happy Annular Eclipse! Happy all of this stuff happening during the second weekend of ACL while there are literally an extra 450,000 people in town and the eclipse is happening DURING the festival! Woooo!
I was tempted to be worried, but according to the shadowy man who lurks in the woods behind my house, these are all really good things and not ominous signs of impending doom.
Thank goodness!
I mean, if anyone knows scary stuff, it’s him.
New Episodes!
It’s fall, y’all, and our new season has begun! To celebrate not bursting into flames during one of the hottest Austin summers on record, we’ve got some incredible new episodes for you.

Fun Facts!
Our most recent episode, Bella and Blue, features the incredible Austin-based poet, songwriter, and storyteller, Jeff Knight. Our upcoming Halloween episode, Spam Calls from Hell by Brian Rust, features the spectacular acting talents of his wife, Tonie Knight!
We received almost 1100 (!!!) submissions to our last call and we read them ALL. We get submissions daily, too. We’re opening our holiday-themed call for submissions early next year. We all need glasses now.
